Terms of service

These terms apply when you install or use Evlop Reviews (“the app”), a Shopify app provided by Evlop Technology, Lalitpur-14, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal (“we”, “us”). By installing the app you agree to them. If you use the app for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.

The service

The app collects, moderates and displays product reviews on your Shopify store, sends review request emails on your behalf, and, on paid plans, provides AI features. Features by plan are listed on the pricing page.

Plans and billing

• The Free plan has no charge. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed by Shopify through your Shopify invoice, and are subject to Shopify’s billing terms.
• Free trials last for the period shown when you choose the plan. You can change or cancel your plan at any time in the app; cancellation takes effect through Shopify billing.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Price changes require your approval in Shopify before they apply.

Your content and your customers

• You keep ownership of your store’s reviews, photos, replies and other content. You give us permission to store, process and display that content to run the app for you.
• You are responsible for the content you publish, for your replies, and for following the laws that apply to your store, including consumer protection, review and email marketing rules.
• Do not use the app to publish fake reviews, to buy or incentivize reviews in ways the law does not allow, or to suppress genuine reviews. Discount rewards in the app are designed to be offered regardless of rating.
• You are the controller of your customers’ personal information. We process it on your behalf as described in our privacy policy.

AI features

AI summaries, answers, labels and reply drafts are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. They are labeled as AI-generated on your storefront. Review reply drafts are never sent without your action.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the app: no attempts to break or overload it, access other merchants’ data, reverse engineer it, or use it to send spam or unlawful content. We may suspend access that puts the service or other merchants at risk.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and reliable, but it is provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, you can cancel your plan.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Your store’s data is deleted as described in our privacy policy. Export your reviews first if you want a copy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email before they apply.
